About the Role:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the dynamic and rapidly evolving telecommunications, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity sectors. Based in Kuwait, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong, lasting relationships with key enterprise and government clients. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of these technologies, a proven track record in complex solution sales, and the ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets across telecom services, cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and cybersecurity solutions (e.g., threat detection, data protection, security operations).
  • Business Development & Account Management: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with large enterprise, public sector, and strategic accounts in Kuwait. Cultivate and expand relationships with existing key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of complex telecom, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions, tailoring proposals to meet specific client needs and challenges. Work closely with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to design and present compelling solutions.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support to ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds sales quotas.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in telecom, cloud, and cybersecurity. Provide market intelligence to internal teams to inform product development and service offerings.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipelines and revenue projections. Prepare and present regular sales reports, performance analyses, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Partnership Management: Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to leverage their solutions and expand sales opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead complex negotiations and manage the contracting process to ensure favorable terms for the company and clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the B2B technology sector, with a significant focus on telecom, cloud, and/or cybersecurity.
    • Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales management or leadership role, with demonstrable success in leading and motivating sales teams.
    • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and growing revenue in competitive markets.
    • Extensive experience selling to large enterprise and government clients in Kuwait is highly preferred.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of:
    • Telecom: Fixed and mobile broadband, voice services, managed networks, IoT.
    • Cloud: Public, private, and hybrid cloud models; IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings; cloud migration strategies; major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Cybersecurity: Network security, endpoint security, data security, cloud security, identity and access management, security operations (SOC), compliance frameworks.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
    • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Proven negotiation and closing skills for complex deals.
